Weekly Inspiration (10/13/22)
For me, angels are about the imagination. We have all watched children at play and have been captivated by how they can make real and present a world unseen. Their play is not an escape into some kind of fantasy. It is a way through the wardrobe door into another world, which is just as real as this one. Angels are doorkeepers who help by ushering us through the door, from one world into the other.

Poem of the Week
“Were not ten made clean?
But the other nine, where are they?
Was none of them found to return and give praise to God
except this foreigner?”
—Luke 17.17-18
Gratitude begins
where entitlement leaves off.
Gratitude is not a feeling;
it's a practice.
First be grateful,
then see what you receive.
The more you practice gratitude for the little things
the more you experience life as an unexpected gift.
Keep this prayer always in your heart:
“For what I am about to receive, thank you.”
