Community Updates (6/1/23)

The Shape is taking a break from being published in June, please read the Midweek for any announcements and keep a look out for e-blasts throughout the month.

Update on our Priest Search

The transition team has received, via the Bishop's office, applications from prospective candidates in response to our Parish Profile. The team will begin the process of scheduling interviews within the next few weeks. Please remember that it is important for our team to maintain confidentiality during these proceedings. For any questions please contact Sharon or Ellen.

Updates on Music Director Search

Our search committee is currently working on plans and are continuing to look for our next Music Director.

Learning Center update

Recently we experienced a sewer back up in the sink in the Learning Center downstairs.  The JV Board contacted our insurance company, had the blockage cleared and the damage assessed.  JV is currently getting bids for the removal/remediation of the damaged flooring, walls and carpeting. A decision about the floor replacement will be the next step.

Future Fellowship Events

Let's take time to gather together!

+ Sunday June 25th - After Church BBQ! Details will be coming.

If you have an idea or suggestion for a future fellowship event please let Wendy, Susanne or Ellen know.

Here is a direct link to our weekly “An Episcopal Sermon” podcast.

Each weekly podcast episode is a live recording of the Gospel reading followed by the sermon based on that reading from our Sunday services. A new episode is posted on our website every Monday (in case you missed it on Sunday). This podcast provides thought provoking messages that can be listened to anywhere at any time.

Enjoy!
