A Note From Shelley:
I send my heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all the members of ECA for the amazing, touching, wonderful retirement party you planned and carried off (secretly!) The food was superb, the skit both funny and touching. The book of Memories is a treasure to be enjoyed over and over, the beautiful watercolor of the church by Michelle Ruffo, and the gift of money for the world’s most comfortable chair was above and beyond – so thoughtful, so generous! (The chair is ordered!) Thank you, thank you, one and all!

Blue Christmas Service December 16 at 4:00 PM
A Blue Christmas Service will be held on Friday, December 16 from 4:00-5:00 PM in the sanctuary. The service will be led by the Rev. Dr. Shelly Wilson, Pastor of CCAV and will be a quiet, meditative service for those who would love a quiet approach to the solstice time and to the celebration of the coming again of the Christ child. All are invited to attend this beautiful service.
If anyone is interested in becoming (or continuing to be) a Lay Eucharistic Visitor, please contact Shelley. These are trained folks who take communion to the sick and homebound. We will have a Zoom meeting in December for training.
Also, anyone interested in: lay reading, ushering, or coffee hour hosting for Sundays, please contact Shelley or Nancy Romer.
Here is a direct link to our weekly “An Episcopal Sermon” podcast.
Each weekly podcast episode is a live recording of the Gospel reading followed by the sermon based on that reading from our Sunday services. A new episode is posted on our website every Monday. This podcast provides thought provoking messages that can be listened to anywhere at anytime.
Enjoy!
